Over the long weekend, I went to go to the Richmond Night Market with my friends. It was a bit cold since I went around 8pm. For those considering going, I recommend taking a jacket to keep your self warm. Richmond Night Market opens at 6pm and stays open until 12am, friday to sunday. When you first arrive you see a huge dinosour standing tall behind the fence. The mascot of the night market use to be a giant duck but now has changed to a dinosour. Along the fence, there is a crazy line of people waiting to get in. This line stretches to about 200m but it only takes 10 min max to get in. You can also buy a $20 pass that you can use for 10 times to not line up and get in. We all pitched in and bought the ticket. Once you get in, a huge stage is put up and music constantly plays from giant speakers beside the stage. Sometimes dance groups perform on the stage.  The night market consists of rows and rows of food trucks and acceceory shops. Food that are being sold start from ice creams to deep fried octopus. On the right top corner of the market is amusement section. They small spinning rides you can get onfor $5. There is also an interesting exotic game where you get in a huge ballon like tube and run across water. There are also competition and games you can play to win cute dolls. Richmond night market is a place where you can go to waste time. I would defintly recommend going to the nigut market if you have no plans on the weekend.
