Two sides to everything

In the short story "Do seek their meat from God” by Charles G.D Roberts, the theme is that there are always two side to an incident. Anything that results from an incident for one side will seem good and for the other it would be something bad. In this short story, there is a conflict between panthers, carnivore capable of eating men, v.s man, the hunter. When the hunter encounters the panther getting ready to eat his son, he immediately shoots them and kills them. In humans point of view, it is only justifiable since the man only killed the beast for the sake of his child. If one looks, however, in the panther’s point of view, it seems extremely unfair for the panthers to be killed. The animals only came to eat the boy because they them selves have been starving. The only option was to risk their lives to hunt a human boy. Like this in every incident there are two sides and it could be good or bad depending on where one chooses to view the event.
